
Telehandler/Rough Terrain Forklift – THRT-01
This Rough Terrain and Telehandler Forklift training course is designed and ideal for workers in agricultural, construction, and Oil & Gas industries.
Telehandler Forklift Training Topics
The course covers topics including: basic parts, theory and controls, pre-use inspections, load charts and calculations, hazards and safe operating procedures of a Telehandler.
Upon completion of the training theory and practical portion of the course, there will be a knowledge exam. Successful participants who achieve 80% or greater who also pass the practical component will receive certification valid for three years.
COURSE INFORMATION
Course Requirements:
Valid Alberta or BC Driver’s License.
Course Objectives:
Provide students with a three year forklift class 7 operator certificate.
Hours To Complete:
8 Hours
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment):
All PPE required.
Certification:
Three year Certificate of Completion rewarded to students who pass with a minimum grade of 80% who also pass the practical component.
