Skid Steer – SKS-01

This skid steer training program is designed to provide operators with the theory and training to safely operate a skid steer machine in nearly any application.

Skid Steer Training Topics

The course teaches participants the proper health and safety standards, pre-use inspections, safe work and operating procedures and preventative maintenance. As well, identifying hazards,  fundamentals of operations, controls, steering, handling, start-up and shut-down procedures, installation and removal of attachments and lifting procedures.

Our heavy machine operator training courses consist of classroom theory, and practical hands on experience.

Upon completion of the Theory and Practical portion of the course, there will be a knowledge exam. Successful participants who achieve 80% or greater and also pass the practical component will receive certification valid for three years.

Course Objectives:

Provide students with a three year skid steer operator certificate.

Hours To Complete:

4 Hours

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment):

All PPE required.

Certification:

Three year Certificate of Completion rewarded to students who pass with a minimum grade of 80% who also pass the practical component.
