Cargo Securement

Cargo securement course provides a detailed overview of the National Safety Code Standard 10.

The standard was created to ensure the safety of drivers, employees, and the motoring public. Carriers must ensure that any cargo they carry does not shift, move or spill onto the roadway.

The course topics also include: the fundamentals of load securement, general cargo securement regulations, the securement system, containment, immobilizing and securing cargo, and inspection requirements.

Course Objectives:

To provide students with a three year certificate of completion.

Hours To Complete:

8 Hours

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment):

All PPE required.

Certification:

Three year Certificate of Completion rewarded to students who pass with a minimum grade of 80% who also pass the practical component.
