Oilfield Driver Awareness – ODA-01 – Call for booking

This ODA course is approved by Alberta Transportation as a Professional Driving Improvement Course (PDIC).

ODA Course  Topics

This course covers proper vehicle inspection, professional driving attitude, journey management, identifying road conditions and hazards, outcomes, off-highway driving techniques, National Safety Code requirements (NSC), defensive driving, regulations and policies.

Course Objectives:

To give professional drivers and workers who drive in oilfield driving environments knowledge to improve on-road driving behaviors and better understand the factors that influence driver attitudes

Hours To Complete:

8 Hours

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment):

All PPE required.

Certification:

Successful completion of this course participant will be granted a Certificate of Completion that is valid for 3 years. Participants with an Alberta Operator’s License who receive 80% or better on the written examination are eligible for a reduction of up to three demerit points from their driving record from Alberta Transportation through any Alberta registries agent.
